Chiron is Europe’s largest Manufacturer
and technology leader for Vertical CNC
Machining Centers, located in the Black
Forest region of South Germany.
The Factory is currently staffed with
approximately 900 employees in a modern
facility of approximately 500,000 square
feet, expanded in 1985, 1987 and 1997.
Originally founded in 1921, Chiron has
more then 80 years of experience in
manufacturing and since 1958 has
developed and produced machine tools and
special purpose machines. The Chiron
Group employs 1,400 people worldwide.
Until today, Chiron has developed a
range of volume production technologies
for the Automotive, Electronics,
Aerospace, Medicine, Job shops and other
industries based on original German
technology, quality and reliability.
Chiron has extensive experience in
electrical, mechanical, systems and
software developing engineering. Chiron
maintains strong affiliations with
universities and operates their own
apprenticeship school within their
facilities.
